I am suffering right now. I need to be put out of my misery. I have made over 10 trips (make that 12...) to the bathroom within the hour.
I have an appointment in one week for a "flexible signoidoscopy". From what I understand, it's a step down from a colonoscopy. You don't need to be under anesthesia for the procedure, but I'm choosing to be put under regardless.
I'm really nervous.....
good luck, it's a bit uncomfortable, but usually over pretty quickly. It only goes up the left side. if you're knocked out, no worries there, but i've been awake for all mine, and they get easier. hang in there :)
ReplyDeletehave you tried 6-mp or remicade? I hope you find the right treatment for you soon. UC sucks.
I haven't tried either of those medicines. I am currently taking Apriso which I think is still fairly new. Before the Apriso I was taking Asacol.
